Lemon Shortbread Cookies with Spruce Tip Salt
These cookies get their lemon flavor from using lemon extract in the dough, along with lemon zest.
Chill your dough for a half of an hour in the refrigerator before rolling it out. Then the dough out to be 1/4" thick.
Immediately top with Alaska Pure Spruce Tip Salt after taking them out of the oven.
You want to do this while the cookies are still warm so that the salt sticks to the cookies.
